Penn State finished with the 24th-best scoring offense, putting up 33.9 points per game. Drew Allar threw for 3,021 yards with 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Singleton has 928 rushing yards with eight TDs and Allen has 892 yards and nine TDs. On the defensive side, they had the seventh-best scoring defense, giving up only 15.9 points per game. The Broncos finished the season with 11 straight wins. Their only loss of the season game in week two against then No. 7 Oregon, 37-34, on the road. Boise State has the third-best scoring offense at 39.1 points per game. Ashton Jeanty has rushed for 2,497 yards 29 rushing TDs. Quarterback Maddux Madsen has thrown for 2,714 yards, 22 touchdowns and only three interceptions. On the defensive side of the ball, they allow 21.9 points per game. This matchup features two of the best rushing attacks in the nation. Penn State has the seventh-best rushing defense. The Broncos have not seen a rushing defense this good all year. Penn State will stack the box and they should be able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. It is a lot of points for a neutral site game but Penn State played last week and Boise has been off for a month.
