I’m on the over of 44.5 in this Raider / Falcons game for these reasons:

- Raiders are terrible defensively, with one of the worst Pass defending units in the league. Only 0.4 interceptions this season as a team at home, vs a Kirk Cousins who is pass happy and needs a bounce back spot, doesn’t bode well for the Raiders here, especially without Max Crosby on the defensive line. Kirk cousins with time is a dangerous man.

- On the flip side, the offense is the only bright spot for this Raiders team and the Falcons aren’t elite defensively either. I’d be happier with this over if it was Aidan O’Connell, but it’s likely to be Desmond Ridder who started for the Falcons for 6ish games last season before they traded for Kirk. Revenge narrative is a card, but I don’t like to bet on revenge, however the numbers do make sense for the raiders to contribute 14-20 points to this over. Brock Bowers , and Jakobi Myers are good enough to acquire yards to a falcons team that allow 229 passing yards per game. Raiders are a top 15 in passing yards, so I don’t see much running of the ball from either side.
