The Stars are coming into this game with a 34-18-1 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They are starting to gain some confidence again and they have been a much better team at home this season as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 11 of their last 12 games there, also with the best home record in the league this season at 16-3-1. The Kings do not give up many goals at home either, allowing 1 goal or less in 3 of their last 5 games there. The Kings went through a bit of a road slump but now they are playing much better again and will be hungry to gain some ground in the standings after their slump. They will get up for this game at home against one of the better teams in the Western Conference. The Kings will win this game at home.
