This is an 8* TOTAL on the UNDER Avs/Oilers.

Game 1 was a barn burner. Game 2 was a defensive battle. More so for the Avs, with Pavel Francouze posting the shutout.

He's been great and the Oilers will have their work cut out for them again here.

That said, clearly Edmonton will be risking life and limb getting into shooting and passing lanes as it tries to avoid the dreaded 0-3 hole.

So which "style" of game are we going to see in Game 3? A faster-paced "shootout" like in Game 1, or a more defensive battle like we saw in Game 2?

I think it'll be like Game 2, with Edmonton' netminder Mike Smith bouncing back in friendly confines.

Eight goals is a lot in Playoff hockey, even in this day and age. I expect a competitive affair, but one that falls well UNDER this sky-high number.
