This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER Als/Stamps.

In 2020, the CFL shutdown due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Last year it cobbled together an abbreviated campaign, but in 2022, the Canadian Football League is back to a full 18 game schedule.

There's nothing more that the CFL would love than to see a wide-open, high-scoring shootout here on Opening night as it tries to drive interest back to its brand. That includes trying to snare viewers from the US market.

Another low-scoring, inept contest isn't going to impress anyone. Not even the die-hard CFL fans.

We can expect an up-tempo pace from each team here today.

We have two really good quarterbacks going head-to-head in Bo Levi Mitchell for the Stamps and Vernon Adams Jr. for the Als.

Look for each of these capable signal callers to be given the green light to air it out early and often.
