Point Spread: 8.00 | -110.00 Edmonton (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* GAME OF THE YEAR on the Elks.
I got down early and have a poor line unfortunately, but that said, I still love the Elks in this spot.
Saskatchewan is off a 30-13 win over Hamilton at home, but I expect a step back here with its first game on the road.
The Elks on the other hand are out to rebound from a 59-15 road loss at BC to open the season.
To say this is a "revenge" game for Edmonton would be an understatement, as they've lost seven of the last eight in this series.
However, note that six of the past eight matchups between these teams have been decided by a single score, with Saskatchewan prevailing 29-24 as an 11.5-point favorite in the most recent.
Cody Fajardo used a big fourth-quarter to beat Hamilton, but up until then he looked pretty mediocre.
The Elks Nick Arbuckle had 254 passing yards last week, but also had three INT's. I think he'll settle down for sure here at home.
It's supposed to be raining tonight too. I expect this game to have a lot of running and I believe it'll be A LOT closer than what the oddsmakers are trying to lead us to believe.
Grab the points, the play is EDMONTON.
Good luck, NP
