This is an 8* SITUATIONAL PLAY on the OVER Giants/Braves.

Neither team has been playing to many high-scoring games of late, but we're expecting those trends to end this evening.

The Giants hand the ball to Anthony DeSclfani (0-1, 6.08 ERA), while the home side counters with Spencer Strider (3-2, 2.45.)

DeSclafani returns from injury to make this start after two rehab outings. In his last he gave up four runs over five innings. He's 1-4 with a 4.54 ERA in seven career starts vs. the Braves.

Strider is the No. 5 pitcher in the Braves' rotation. He's been decent in the early going, but we feel that the young pitcher is in the wrong place at the wrong time today.

The Giants are 7-2 in their last nine in trying to revenge a loss against an opponent in which they were held to one or less runs in as well.

Yesterday's game was a lower-scoring one in the Braves' 2-1 win, but all signs point to today's total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
