Detroit has seen the total go UNDER in four straight, including in yesterday's 5-1 win here in the series opener.

That victory snapped a three-game slide for the Tigers.

Arizona has seen the total go UNDER the number in four of its last five and it's now lost four straight.

These two clubs have troubles plating runs most nights, but we're expecting a bit of a SLUG-FEST here on Saturday finally.

Note that despite yesterday's low-scoring loss, the Diamondbacks have still seen the total fly OVER the number in six of their last eight after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.

They've also seen the total go OVER in seven of their last ten in trying to revenge a home loss against an opponent in which it was held to one or fewer runs in.

Zach Davies (2-4, 3.96 ERA) gets the call for the home side and he enters on a seven-game winless stretch, going 0-3 in the span.

The visitors counter with Alex Faedo (1-4, 4.67), who has struggled of late, allowing 12 runs and 17 runs in just 7 1/3 innings over his last two outings.
