(MLB) Toronto vs. Milwaukee,
Total: 9.50 | -105.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 9.50 | -105.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOP SUNDAY TOTAL on the UNDER Jays/Brewers.
We had a play on the UNDER in this series yesterday and while that came up JUST short in the Brewers' 5-4 victory, we're definitely finally expecting a "DUEL" here in the finale.
The Jays have now seen the total go OVER the number in six straight, while the Brewers have seen the total go OVER in three straight (which is signficant to note in this case as Milwaukee has in fact seen the total go UNDER in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.)
Neither pitcher has been fantastic, but each will be hungry to get back on track.
Jose Berrios (5-3, 5.11 ERA), gets the call for Toronto, while Chi Chi Gonzalez (0-1, 7.36) counters for the home side.
Berrios faced the Brewers once last year as part of the Twins and he allowed no hits over six innings to go along with 12 strikeouts.
Berrios is 2-1 with a 4.15 ERA over four June starts. The UNDER is also 15-5-1 in the Jays last 21 road when the total in the contest is set between 9.0 and 10.5.
The situation and the number/trends all point to the UNDER as the correct call as far as the total is concerned in this one.
Good luck, NP
