10* TOP NL TOTAL: +$20,000 MLB RUN!
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. St. Louis,
Total: 8.50 | -116.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOP NL TOTAL on the OVER Phillies/Cardinals.

We had a play on the OVER in the Phillies' 1-0 win here yesterday, and while that play came up short, we're confident that tonight's series finale will finally produce plenty of offensive fireworks.

The Phillies have now seen the total go UNDER in four straight, while the Cardinals have seen the total go UNDER in seven straight.

That's a lot of combined UNDERS. I know that the Law Of Averages is flawed in many ways, but I've always felt that lop-sided numbers/trends have a way of naturally "correcting" themselves over the short, the mid and the long-term.

The public is almost auto playing the UNDER whenever they see the Cards play right now, but in our opinions the value has now finally swung the other way as far as the total is concerned.

The Phillies hand the ball to rookie Cristopher Sanchez (1-1, 3.48 ERA), while the home side counters with rookie Andre Pallante (2-4, 3.03.)

Sanchez is forced into starting action here again with Ranger Suarez dealing with injury. Pallante got rocked in his last outing, allowing seven runs and ten hits over three innings in a loss to the Braves.

We're expecting these rookies to get chased early and we look for this total to fly OVER the number sooner, rather than later.

Good luck, NP
