SITUATIONAL RUNLINE PLAY: +$19K LONGTERM
(MLB) Cincinnati vs. NY Yankees,
Point Spread: 1.50 | 133.00 Cincinnati (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* SITUATIONAL RUNLINE PLAY on the Reds.

These teams have been polar opposite all season. The Reds have the second worst record in the league, and the Yanks are favored to represent the American League in the World Series.

Each is also coming off polar opposite weekends, with the Yanks stumbling and choking in Boston, and the Reds dominating after winning four straight.

New York won the first two games of a four-game series in Boston, but then got smashed 11-6 on Sunday, after blowing a pair of late leads in Saturday's 6-5 extra innings loss.

The Reds posted a 10-5 win over the Rays on Sunday to complete the three-game home sweep.

Gerrit Cole (8-2, 3.26 ERA), gets the nod for the home side. He's 1-8 with a 4.68 ERA in 13 career starts vs. Cincinnati. He's coming off a poor outing as well, allowing five runs off five hits, including two homers, over six innings vs. Boston.

He'll be opposed by the hungry Graham Ashcraft (4-2, 4.35), who most recently allowed two runs over six innings in a no-decision vs. the Mets on Wednesday.

Ashcraft looked unstoppable to open the season, then predictably stumbled, but his last outing was another big step in the right direction.

I say Cole and the Yanks are overpriced here. Momentum is funny in sports. It's almost a very real, tangible factor at times.

While I do think an outright upset is possible, let's grab the Reds on the RUNLINE instead.

Good luck, NP
