This is a 10* IL TOM on the OVER Phillies/Jays.

Both teams are in need of a victory, and each has played to several lower-scoring games as they come into this Wednesday night contest. From a situational stand point, we love the way this one sets up to be a higher-scoring game finally.

Philadelphia has now seen the total go UNDER the number in seven straight afer yesterday's 4-3 defeat here. The Phillies will be extra motivated here to snap a three-game losing streak as well.

The Phillies though have seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 12 after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row, and also in seven of their last ten after three or more straight losses in a row.

The Jays have seen the total go UNDER in three of their last four.

But these two teams rank among the best offensively, as Toronto averages 4.56 RPG (ranked 11th), while Philadelphia averages 4.69 (7th.)

It's difficult to say anything negative about these starting pitchers, as each has been excellent up to this point. Zach Wheeler (8-4, 2.46 ERA) gets the call for the Phillies, while Ross Stripling (4-3, 3.34) counters for the Jays.

This is just a case of each of these guys being in the wrong place at the wrong time, as we strongly feel that the overall situation, combined with the stats/trends/numbers listed above all point to this O/U line being a bit too low now.
