Kansas City won the first game of this four game series by a score of 3-1, while Toronto has won the next two, winning 8-1 and 6-5 yesterday.

While the last two games of this series have flown OVER the number, all signs point to a "DUEL" in the final in our opinion.

The Jays needed a three-run bottom of the tenth rally to win yesterday and they're now 3-1 under interim manager John Schneider.

Neither starter has been very good over the first half, but that just adds "fuel to the fire" for each here as they look to close out the first half on a high note.

Kansas City goes with Kris Bubic (1-6, 6.63 ERA), while the home side counters with Jose Berrios (7-4, 5.38.)

Berrios is 6-4 with a 4.54 ERA in 18 career outings vs. Kansas City, while Bubic has never faced Toronto.

KC though has won five of its last eight games, despite losing two in a row.

KC though has ten players that couldn't make the trip due to Canada's COVID 19 restrictions, with many minor leaguer's once again be leaned upon today.

I expect both teams to come in distracted as each gets caught looking ahead to the mid-summer classic. That's going to then leave the door open for these two struggling starters, desperate for something positive to end the first half.
