This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the Giants RUNLINE.

The Dodgers went into the break winning 11 of 12 and four in a row, but we think LA could come out a bit flat here in the first game back from the break.

Right now LA sits 12.5 games ahead of the Giants. The Dodgers had six players on the NL All Star Game roster, and a slight "hangover" could be an issue for the home side tonight.

San Francisco isn't the same team that won 104 games last year, but it went into the break winning five of its final six.

I give the nod to Carlos Rodon in this starting pitching matchup as well. Rodon is 8-5 with a 2.66 ERA, while his counterpart Mitch White is just 1-2 with a 4.20 ERA.

It's been a small sample size for White and he's been pedestrian at best. He's 0-2 with a 4.56 ERA in all "night" games this season.

Rodon's been solid overall this year. I guess he's been better at home than on the road, but he's still 6-3 with a 2.80 ERA in all "night" games this season and we absolutely believe that he's the superior starting pitcher in this one.

Rodon and the Giants have a legitimate shot at winning this one outright, but we're going to suggest laying the mid-sized price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance.

Consider San Francisco on the runline.

Good luck, NP
