10* EARLY SLUG-FEST:
(MLB) LA Angels vs. Kansas City,
Total: 9.00 | 104.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* SLUG-FEST on the OVER Angels/Royals.

Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but we're expecting those trends to end this afternoon.

Both games of this series have so far gone UNDER the number. Kansas City won the opener 7-0, before LA bounced back with a 6-0 victory yesterday. Note that the Royals have seen the total go OVER the number in seven of their last ten in trying to avenge a shutout home loss against an opponent.

KC has now seen the total go UNDER in four straight.

Neither offense has been great obviously, but we have little faith in these starting pitchers today.

The visitors hand the ball to Jason Junk (0-0, 0.00) and he'es pitched just one inning in the big leagues. He was 1-3 with a 3.88 ERA in ten Triple-A starts. Clearly, this is a big step up for the rookie.

The Royals counter with Brad Keller (5-10, 4.16), who allowed five runs over four innings in a loss to the Rays on Friday.

Mike Trout remains out for the Angels, but Magneuris Sierra went 2 for 4 with a run yesterday in his place.

When taking into account the overall situation and the rest of the above information, we're looking for this total to fly OVER the number sooner, rather than later.

Good luck, NP
