9* FOOTBALL KICKOFF
(NCAAF) Florida Atlantic vs. Ohio,
Point Spread: -4.00 | -107.00 Florida Atlantic (Away)
Result: Loss
The Florida Atlantic Owls take on the Ohio Bobcats in week 1 of college football action. The Owls came away with a win in week 0 after beating Charlotte. The Ohio Bobcats won just 3 games last year under first-year coach Tim Albin. The Owls quarterback, N’Kosi Perry had a nice opening game, completing 72.7 percent of his passes for 256 yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions. LaJohntay Wester and Jahmal Edrine combined for 120 receiving yards. They rushed for 218 yards with Larry McCammon III leading with 118 yards and 1 touchdown. Last season, the Bobcats put up 22.6 points and 371.4 yards a game. On the defensive side, they gave up 30.3 points and 432.3 yards a game last season. They do return quarterback Kurtis Rourke who threw for 1,800 yards, with 11 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. The Owls are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Bobcats are 3-11 ATS in their last 14 home games and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games. The Ohio Bobcats had to replace a lot of key players on the offensive side and the defense was terrible last year. The Florida Atlantic Owls played well in their opener and have the advantage of having a game under their belt. FAU did not play well on the road last season but they do have an advantage in talent. I think having played a game already will help FAU start this game strong.

Play on FAU.
