The Phillies remained hot with a 20=-0 win over the Padres in game one of the NLCS. Philadelphia will start Aaron Nola in game two against the Padres Blake Snell. Nola has not given up an earned run in two playoff starts. He threw seven innings of one-run baseball against San Diego during the regular season Snell posted a 6.75 ERA against the Phillies during the regular season. Since both pitchers went deep yesterday both teams have fresh bullpens going into today which is not a benefit to the hitters. The under is 9-4 in Padres’ last 13 versus the National League East. These teams have gone under in 12 of their last 16 head-to-head games. I am looking for a continuance of game two with the pitchers dominating once again.
