Home run or bust seems to be the Yankees' motto this postseason. As a team, they are hitting just .177 in the postseason but have hit 11 home runs. They have scored 19 of their 22 runs via the home run. The Astros are hitting just .220 in four games but have nine home runs in two fewer games. Jose Altuve is now 0-for-16 in the postseason but the Astros just keep winning. The Yankees are averaging five hits a game and a ton of strikeouts is not a good recipe for scoring runs. New York is now 5-1 to the under in the playoffs. Houston, meanwhile, is 3-1 to the under. These were two of the best bullpens during the regular season and New York rested their best bullpen arms. These offenses combined to go 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position and combined for five solo home runs. I am looking for another close, low-scoring game and as long as the bullpens hold, this game goes under.
