It is a new season for both the Heat and the Celtics but as time moves on things remain the same. Last season the heat struggled against the Celtics' overall size and their ability to interchange their pieces on the defensive end. While Miami is trying to figure out its rotation and where certain players fit into that rotation the Celtics know what they have in Tatum and Brown at the forward spots and Smart in the backcourt. Tatum and Brown on tough matchups on the offensive end and on the defensive end, those two along with Smart, can lock down the Heat's best scorers.
Boston is 20-6-1 against the spread in their last 27 road games. With Hero in the starting lineup, the Heat are not as strong on the defensive end and I expect the Celtics to take advantage of that. The Celtics are still a top defensive team and thier offense is a good complement. Until the Heat get the rotation figured out their defense will struggle.
