People started to think this season could be different fen the reality of very bad defense and injuries to key plays showed us the Lions are the Lions. That high-scoring offense was shut out by the Patriots and is now in the midst of a six-game losing streak. Not only do the Cowboys and that outstanding defense is next but the Cowboys are also getting Dal Prescott back to run the offense. I don't know if there is a better defense to get re-acclimated against than the Lions. Dallas has covered 14 of their last 18 against NFC opponents, and they are 4-1 in their last five games against Detroit. Dallas is 10-1 ATS against teams with losing records. The Dallas defense should be able to slow down the Lions' offense and cause Goff problems much as the Patriots did. The Lions' defense won't offer much resistance and Dallas should be able to control the game on the ground.
