It has been a disappointing season so far for the Baltimore Ravens and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Baltimore finally held onto a lead and built the Cleveland Browns 23-20. Tampa Bay continued to have offensive woes and mustered just a field goal in a 21-3 loss to Carolina. The Ravens are tied with the Bengals atop the AFC North with a 4-3 record. The Ravens are 26th in the league in passing offense, fifth in rushing offense, and sixth in scoring offense with 25.9 points a game. On the defensive side, they are giving up 23 points a game which is 21st. Tampa Bay suffered their third straight loss as their offense was put in a stranglehold by a one-win Carolina team Sunday afternoon on the road. The Buccaneers are 3-4 this season but are still atop the NFC South. The Buccaneers are 6th in the league in total offense, and 32nd in the league in rushing offense. Tampa Bay is putting up 17.7 points a game and on the defensive side, they are giving up 17.7 points. Baltimore has blown double-digit leads in their three losses. Tampa Bay has scored just one touchdown in their last nine-plus quarters and have lost four of their last five games.
