The World Series shifts back to the City of Brotherly love tied at a game each. The Phillies got the win in game one and now with a sweep at home, they will not have to go back to Houston. Houston will send Lance McCullars Jr. to the mound. He is 4-2 with a 2.27 ERA and is 0-0 with a 2.45 ERA in the postseason. He was limited in the regular season as he came back late in the season from an injury. The Phillies will counter with Noah Syndergaard on the mound. He finished the season at 10-10 with a 3.04 and 0-0 with a 1.69 ERA in the postseason. Philadelphia is a perfect 5-0 record at home, outscoring the opposition 35-15.

Syndergaard faced the Astros twice this season with a 2.89 ERA but he only lasted a total of 9.1 innings in those two starts while allowing five hits and three runs but did walk six batters. In the playoffs, he has not pitched more than a couple of innings in relief this year. You would expect the Phillies to go to their pen early. The Astros are 3-0 on the road and maybe the most important thing for them is that it looks like Altuve has found his swing again.
