MACTIONS BACK (CMU-NIU)
(NCAAF) Central Michigan vs. NIU,
Point Spread: -6.00 | -110.00 NIU (Home)
Result: Loss
Central Michigan has lost three of its first four conference games this season with their only win coming against 1-8 Akron. Central used two quarterbacks in their loss to Bowling Green last week, and it is unclear who will start against Northern Illinois. I wouldn't be surprised to see both quarterbacks in the game and see who can get the team moving on offense. The Central Michigan defense is ranked 35th in the country against the run, allowing only 123 yards a game which ranks 35th in the country. The Huskies come into this game at 2-6. NIU has one of the top running teams in the nation. They are 22nd in the country at 202 yards a game. The Huskies' defense has not been good, allowing 33 points a game. This is a game between bad teams, but I believe the difference will be in the running game. MIU has two backs capable of going over 100 yards and even though CMU is only giving up 123 yards on the ground they have not been tested this year by this type of rushing attack. CMU has struggled to through the ball no matter who is under center and have thrown for just 250 yards a game. NIU will use their rushing attack and home crowd to wear down CMU and take this game over late.

Play on NIU.
