Both teams love to run the ball and neither team has shown that they can consistently pass the ball effectively. The Bears rank first in the NFL on the ground while the Falcons have the 4th best rushing attack. Mariota and the Falcons' offense has scored just 32 points total in the team's last two games while the Bears have scored 62 points over their last two games. On the defensive side, the Bears have a better secondary than the Falcons which should allow them to put more men in the box and take chances stopping the run. Chicago is 10th against the pass while the Falcons are last in the league against the pass. Atlanta was a good ATS pick at the start of the season but is now 0-4 ATS in its last four games.
Fields is a threat on every snap and the offense is starting to play a lot better around him. He was able to make some big plays in the passing game last week and I look for the Bears to have more big plays than the Falcons. Take the points in this one.
