Liberty is putting up 78.5 points a game and giving up 68.0 points. Northwestern returns four of five starters from last season's team. Northwestern is putting up 70.8 points a game and giving up 53.8 points. Northwestern looks like a team on a mission after returning four starters that did not have a great season last season. They are getting it done on the defensive end this season. The Flames scored just 22 points in the first half of their past game against SMU and trailed by as many as 26, needing a 50-point second half to make it close. They can't afford to get off to that kind of start against the Wildcats. The Wildcat's defense will be the difference as they have shown an ability to hold opponents to low shooting percentages from both the field and from deep. Northwestern should be able to control the boards and I look for them to come away with a win and cover.
