A battle of 3-0 teams takes place in the Cancun Challenge when the Auburn Tigers take on the Northwestern Wildcats. Auburn is coming off a .convincing win over Bradley 85-64 while Northwestern took care of Liberty 66-52. After losing two players to the first round of the NBA, Auburn just reloaded with a group of talented freshmen to go with experienced returning players. This will be the first test for Auburn against a Power-Five opponent. Northwestern will have their cut out for them on both ends of the court as the Tigers come into this game with a top-25 offense and top-15 defense. Northwestern has played some good defense of its own, limiting its opponents to just 53.4 points a game, but they have not faced an offense the on the caliber of Auburn. The Wildcats can't keep up with the Tigers on the offensive end and will struggle to slow down Auburn's defense. Northwestern likes to play at a slow pace and if they hit their shots early they can stay in this one but I expect Auburn to overpower the Wildcats in the second half and come away with an easy win and cover.
