Michigan State goes on the road to take on Illinois in Big 10 action. The Spartans are 4-5 overall and 2-4 in Big Ten Conference play. They have lost five of their last six games. Illinois is 6-3 overall and they are 3-3 in conference play. They have lost two in a row. For the Spartans, Adian Chiles has thrown for 1,850 yards with eight touchdowns and 11 interceptions. MSU is putting up 19.8 points per game and on the defensive end, they are allowing 24.1 points per game. For the Illini, Luke Altmyer has thrown for 1,893 yards with 16 touchdowns and three interceptions. Illinois is putting up 25.9 points and on the defensive side, they are giving up 21.1 points per game. Right now, I have to take the Illinois quarterback over MSU’s. Chiles is young and makes young quarterback mistakes. The Illini also have a better running game as the Spartans O-line is too inconsistent. I am going with the Illini at home.
