This is a buy low, sell high spot here with Pitt coming into this game having won 8 of their last 9 games while VT is coming off a road loss @ Georgia Tech as an 8.5 point favorite. We’re getting line value with VT here as last season they were favored by 12.5 at home vs Pitt last year and won 74-47 and now laying only 3 to 4 points. Let’s not forget that the Hokies were just favored by 2 at home a few weeks ago vs the top team in the conference (UVA) and won. The Hokies have some bad losses vs lower tier ACC teams (lost to BC twice & lost to Ga Tech) but when at home and motivated they’ve beaten the best ACC has to offer – beat Virginia, Duke, and UNC at home.
