We lost with the New York Yankees as a free pick yesterday when they fell 8-2 to the White Sox. The Yankees were very ineffective with runners in scoring position, but I like them to turn it around tonight.

Carlos Rodon (2-6, 4.24) takes the ball for the White Sox. He's struggled in splitting two career starts against New York, giving up 10 runs and walking nine batters in nine innings. Rodon was tagged with four runs in 5 2/3 innings against Minnesota his last time out and he's 1-3 with a 4.60 ERA in eight starts home at U.S Cellular Field.

The Yankees turn to Masahiro Tanaka (5-2, 3.35 ERA) who was lit up by Texas for six runs in six innings his last start. Tanaka still escaped with a no-decision as the Yankees won the game 9-7. The right-hander struggled in a no-decision against the White Sox home in the Bronx in mid-May, but Tanaka has been fantastic on the road this season with a 3-1 record and 1.32 ERA in seven starts.

Yankees are 8-2 in Tanaka's last 10 starts. White Sox are 3-8 in Rodon's last 11 starts. Yankees are 12-4 in the last 16 meetings.
