The LA Lakers have averaged 120 ppg through three straight victories, admittedly against teams near or at the bottom of the standings in the NBA, but I think they'll be able to pile up the points here at Miami Thursday night as well.

The Lakers defeated the Hawks 123-104 at Atlanta their last time out. It's worth noting that they're 7-1 ATS in their last eight games following a straight up win of more than 10 points while over is 5-0-1 in their last six overall.

The Heat are coming off back-to-back triumphs against Memphis and Philadelphia. They've performed very well against the spread lately, entering this game on a 5-0-1 ATS run but we can note that they're just 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.

The previous two meetings this season have seen an average of 224.5 points and over is 7-2 in Miami's last nine overall.
