The red hot Los Angeles Lakers aim for a sixth straight win when they host the even hotter Portland Trail Blazers Monday night. The Lakers have averaged 121.4 ppg through the last five games and I expect to see plenty of points for both teams in this contest. The Blazers have already won six straight (and eight of their last nine) and Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined for 48 points in Saturday's 108-100 triumph over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lakers' Lonzo Ball has shot 55.2 percent from the floor while hitting 14-of-22 from downtown over his last four contests. Ball went 6-for-10 on 3-pointers in a 116-112 win at the Spurs on Saturday night.

Over is 7-0-1 in Lakers last eight overall and while Portland has been trending under in recent games, I still think we'll see the home team push the tempo here to push the score over the total.
