The Chicago Cubs are coming off a successful 7-1 homestand. I like them to carry that momentum on the road as well, starting with a matchup at San Francisco Monday night.

Cubs righty Kyle Hendricks (5-8, 4.27 ERA) has had an up-and-down season, but note that he pitched seven strong innings in beating the Giants 6-2 in May. Hendricks holds a 3-2 overall record and a 3.06 ERA against the Giants in six starts.

The Giants turn to 25 year old rookie left-hander Andrew Suarez (3-5, 3.92 ERA) who has allowed just three runs in 18 2/3 innings through his last three starts, but here he'll face a Chicago team which is 14-3 in its last 17 games vs. a left-handed starter.
