Two of the hottest teams in baseball will continue a three-game series at Coors Field Saturday night.

The Cards won the opener 7-5 Friday but I like the home team to bounce back behind German Marquez (11-9, 4.42 ERA). Marquez has allowed two or fewer runs in four of his last five starts, covering at least seven innings in each of those four games.

This will be Marquez's first matchup with the St. Louis this season but he is 2-0 with a 2.53 ERA in his career against the Cards who turn to John Gant (5-5, 3.76 ERA) for his first career start against Colorado. Gant has been solid lately, but pitching at Coors Field for the first time could prove extremely challenging .

Cardinals are 3-8 in Gants last 11 starts vs. a team with a winning record. Rockies are 13-3 in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
