Marlins left-hander Braxton Garrett is 6-2 with a 2.52 ERA and a 10-4 team record in his road starts on the season. Garrett blanked the Mets over six innings of a 4-3 Marlins win just last week and the Mets are 15-34 against left-handed starters on the season.

The Marlins still have hopes of making it to the postseason, but they need all the wins they can get.
