The reigning NBA champions Denver Nuggets swept the LA Lakers in the Western Conference finals last year. This is admittedly a very different Lakers team, but I'm not sure if it's for the better, and neither AD nor LeBron is getting any younger. Denver is bringing back the same starting five that won them the title, and I don't expect a championship hangover here in the season opener.
