Texas is 2-10 the past 12 times against the Mariners, including losing six in a row.

Oh, yes, Dane Dunning is starting for Texas. The Rangers are 0-10 in his last 10 starts and 0-9 in his road starts this season. Dunning has a 4.42 ERA on the year, which shoots up to 5.42 in away games. Opponents are batting .305 against him when he pitches on the road. Dunning has not looked good in two starts this month giving up seven earned runs in 7 2/3 innings with a 2.35 WHIP.

George Kirby, one of the best prospects, gets the start for the Mariners. He's given up two earned runs or fewer in six of his last eight starts.
