The 85-degree heat and humidity could factor here. Certainly the Packers are not used to that kid of weather.

Aaron Rodgers is starting to hit his stride with back-to-back huge games. That was against familar division rivals, Chicago and Minnesota. Those are two teams Rodgers historically has lit up.

Now, though, Rodgers is going against the Dolphins, who have one of the best defensive lines in football made even better with tackle Randy Starks expected back from injury. Starks, Cameron Wake and Olivier Vernon all can apply tremendous quarterback pressure, which is needed to throw Rodgers off his rhythm.

Miami head coach Joe Philbin knows Rodgers well having been Green Bay's offensive coordinator from 2007-2011 before taking the Dolphins job. Miami should have a solid defensive game plan with an extra week of preparation following a bye.

The Packers' defense has been showing signs of improving. The secondary is deep and facing a mediocre Miami offense that has finished 27th each of the last two seasons and is middle of the road this year even after padding its numbers two weeks ago against the Raiders.

The Dolphins figure to stay on the ground a lot in this matchup, which keeps the clocking moving and is a plus for the under.
