Stephen Nover's One-And-Only Total of the Year
(NCAAF) UNLV vs. Hawaii, 11/22/2014 6:00 PM, Score: 35 - 37
Total: 56.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
UNLV ranks 113th in scoring averaging 20.3 points per game. The Rebels' game plan is going to be stay on the ground. The Rebels have to do this to protect QB Blake Decker, who is not 100 percent, or if backup Jared Lebowitz plays. Plus Hawaii has a weak run defense. So a lot of clock is going to get eaten up.

Hawaii scores even less points per game than the Rebels. They Warriors have a horrible passing attack. Their quarterback, Ikaika Woolsey, completes less than 50 percent of his throws. So the Warriors are going to be staying on the ground, too.

Yes, these defenses are bad. But both team's offenses are really struggling. As bad as the defenses are, the offenses are worse.
