(NHL) Edmonton vs. San Jose, 12/09/2014 5:30 PM, Score: 2 - 5
Money Line: -213.00 San Jose (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 5* play on the San Jose Sharks.

The Oilers finally snapped a 11 game losing streak as they defeated the Sharks 2-1 Sunday in the first game of a home and home. Tonight they'll do battle again, but this time in San Jose.

As relieved as they Oilers were of finally recording a win, the Sharks must be equally frustrated as they failed to extend their winning streak to five straight games. Antti Niemi was rested in that contest, but expect him to be back between the pipes here. He's coming off four straight wins over which he's conceded 11 goals.

The Oilers might find themselves struggling to build on Sunday's win, leaving the Shark Tank as losers in eight of their last 10 visits. They've also been rather poor at follow a good performance up with another, losing all of their last four after allowing two goals or less in their previous game.

Ben Scrivens has conceded 11 goals over his last three road starts and will be a busy man here against a Sharks team that ranks near the top of the league for both shots on goal per game and power play efficiency.

Take SJS.
