Before the start of the season the Bruins were the favorite to win the Atlantic Division, but injuries to several key players have taken their toll. Boston is currently in fifth place, nine points behind the division leading Lightning. Zdeno Chara and David Kejci are both back from injury though, and expect the Bruins to go on a run.

They host the Leafs on New Years Eve, and Toronto has lost five of it's last six. Poor goaltending has been an issue during this losing streak. James Reimer has lost three straight starts, allowing a dozen goals in those games, and Jonathan Bernier has been battling a flu bug.

Tuukka Rask has 15 wins this season, and all but three of those have come on home ice. The Leafs have won just five of their last 19 trips to the Garden, and I expect that trend to continue on New Years Eve.
