Point Spread: 0.50 | -131.00 Carolina (Away)
The Canes aren't going to make the playoffs, but they have been playing pretty gritty hockey over the last few weeks. Carolina comes into Ottawa tonight as winners of five of their last 10, and three of those five losses came in one goal hockey games. They have a history of success versus Ottawa, winning seven of the last nine head to head meetings.
While the Canes have been far more competitive after getting a few of their top players back from injury, the Sens may have some injury troubles of their own tonight. Forward Chris Neil broke his thumb in a fight on Saturday, and he's out indefinitely. Clark McArthur may also not be available, as he's been dealing with an illness.
Cam Ward has looked sharp in his recent starts, and he's got good numbers against the Sens, going 4-0-1 with a 1.17 GAA in his last five starts versus Ottawa.
Take CAR +1.5.
