I'm playing on WVU. No question, the Red Raiders are tough. However, the Mountaineers are pretty strong, too. In my opinion, these teams are more equal than this large line suggests. Off b2b losses, the Mountaineers are going to be highly motivated. They beat the Red Raiders by one, at WVU, last season. Then, they proceeded to come here and win outright by 11 points. They're comfortable here and they're going to come ready to play. While the Red Raiders have beaten some elite teams, they also recently lost to K-State, a team which WVU defeated. The Mountaineers have beaten UConn. With an O/U line in the (high) 120s, this is expected to be a relatively low-scoring game. Every point will count and we're working with a lot of them here. Note that Tech is only 2-5 ATS the past seven times it played a home game with an O/U line in the 120 to 129.5 range. Huggins was happy with WVU's effort against Baylor: "I thought our effort was fine ... I thought we competed on the glass -- we just didn't finish anything." He'll have his team ready. Both teams rang in the year with a nailbiter; I expect this one to also come down to the wire and am grabbing the generous points.
