Take #180 Auburn Over Oklahoma
(NCAAF) Sooners (OKL) vs. Tigers (AUB),
Point Spread: 2.50 | -110.00 Tigers (AUB) (Home)
Result: Loss
No. 21 Oklahoma and Auburn both face uncertainty at quarterback heading into their matchup this Saturday in Auburn, Alabama. The Sooners are preparing for their first-ever road game in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), and coach Brent Venables has decided to start true freshman Michael Hawkins Jr. at quarterback. Hawkins Jr. will step in after replacing Jackson Arnold in the first half of Oklahoma's 25-15 loss to Tennessee last week. This marks a crucial test for Hawkins Jr. in a hostile environment, and the Sooners will need to address their offensive struggles to avoid back-to-back losses. Auburn, facing its own quarterback questions, will look to take advantage of the inexperience on the Oklahoma side and secure a win at home.

On the other side, Auburn's offensive struggles have been largely attributed to turnovers. The Tigers currently sit at 2-2 overall and 0-1 in conference play, with a staggering 14 turnovers on the season, which ties them for the most in FBS. Out of these, eight are interceptions, five thrown by Payton Thorne and three by Hank Brown, so they definitely need better QB play.

We do think Auburn does well here. Both of these defenses are bot all that bad, however Auburn goes for 462 a game offensively, and Oklahoma 299, so we feel Auburn has the offensive advantage here, and we will roll with the Tigers.
