We get Cease vs Yamamoto here in a game that I will be attending. Cease has been fantastic this season and if you remember he threw a no-hitter earlier this year, and has a 1.40 ERA and 0.83 WHIP in his last three outings. Yamamoto has also been great, one earned run in his last 15 innings. However as great as these two guys have been, why is this total still 7.5? You would think it might be 7 or 6.5, but oddsmakers respect these two offenses, as they are elite. We like runs here as both of these pitchers are due for regression and we think there are runs here.
