Count Newcastle as a slight disappointment this season, as the Saudi ownership is not turning the Magpies into Man City...at least yet. Many observers wonder if the club couldn't have made a few more bold moves in the transfer window (Mark Guehi from Crystal Palace, for example, who shined at the Euros) as instead management seemed overly concerned about staying in compliance. Eddie Howe was also surprisingly overlooked (apparently not even contacted) about the England job opening that recently went to Thomas Tuchel, but the Toon has looked short of ideas thus far.
