Indy can't help itself...every game is close, no matter the QB. For the latter, that means vet Joe Flacco this week as Anthony Richardson's inconsistencies have forced Shane Steichen into making the switch. Flacco, however, provides veteran stability, and has tossed 7 TD passes (vs. just once pick) in his three games this season. Thus, getting +5.5 on the spread, as on Sunday night in Minneapolis, is not insignificant. Speaking of playing 'em close, the Vikings know all about that, with their last four games decided in the final minutes. The early five-game win streak has also disappeared with back-to-back defeats as the defense has sprung a few leaks and Sam Darnold (sacked ten times the past three games) continues to get harassed in the pocket.
