The thought that really can't escape us is that having Jameis Winston at QB, as the case last week in the rousing win over Baltimore, is a major plus for the offense (and the team) that seemed to be weighted down by the now-injured Deshaun Watson's deficiencies. Forgive us for being reluctant to get on any Chargers bandwagon, too, as their wins all have asterisks attached, either against floundering foes like the Raiders and Panthers (with Bryce Young), or foes compromised by injury, as were the Saints (sans Derek Carr) last week and Denver (minus Patrick Surtain II from the first play of the game, completely altering the Broncos defense) three weeks ago. Justin Herbert's downfield passing game is still limited, and the apparently-rejuvenated Browns loom as a tougher challenge than those in which the Bolts have succeeded earlier in this campaign.
