Yet with consecutrive wins over the Grizzlies and Bulls, and covers in four straight and five of six, are changing our minds, as Brooklyn seems to be responding positively to new HC Jordi Fernandez. Leading among Nets contributors is G Cam Thomas, who has topped 30 points in three of the six games to date and enters Sunday scoring a cool 28.2 ppg, including 32 in Friday's win over Chicago. Meanwhile, though the Pistons, with some veteran additions, seem somewhat upgraded for JB Bickerstaff, they suffered a wicked 128-98 beatdown at the hands of the Knicks on Friday night, their fifth loss in six tries.
