It appears as if the Kings have been slowly rounding into form with wins in five of their past six, as offseason add DeMar DeRozan (25.6 ppg) is scoring like he did with the Bulls, adding another sharp edge to a dangerous-looking offense scoring at nearly 119 ppg. Tonight, however, they'll face a Clipper side that is working a lot harder on the stop end than the teams the Sacto has been scoring all of those points against in recent weeks. Credit new defensive coordinator Jeff Van Gundy and various offseason adds who were enlisted primarily because they could play on the stop end.
