Commanders at Eagles
(NFL) Commanders (WAS) vs. Eagles (PHI),
Point Spread: 3.50 | -105.00 Commanders (WAS) (Away)
Result: Loss
This might not have been the case last month, but right now, we're sold on the Commanders, even though they endured their first spread loss since the Tampa Bay opener last week in the bitter loss to the Steelers. Dan Quinn has obviously pushed the right buttons and the confidence of LSU Heisman rookie QB Jayden Daniels is infectious, with a bit of magic tossed in during the Oct. 27 thill win vs. the Bears. Meanwhile, it might surprise some that the Eagles are 0-3 vs. the spread at the Linc this season, and haven't covered at home the past two seasons vs. Washington, either. The schedule has also broken very kindly in recent weeks, with only the win at Cincy three weeks ago raising any eyebrows. The defensive acumen of Quinn can clog the running lanes of Saquon Barkley, who recently had a three-game streak of 100+-yard efforts. The Jalen Hurts passing game can be fractious if the infantry isn't providing the usual support. Play Commanders
